By using Weighted Averages at any participating venue, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't play.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to play.
- You must follow the venue's rules. The venue (not us) decides who may participate.
Acceptable use
- No profanity, slurs, or harassment in display names, team names, or join codes. We filter what we can, with no guarantee it catches everything; you're responsible for what you type.
- No impersonating other players, hosts, or venue staff.
- No attempting to manipulate the game system, brute-force codes, or interfere with other teams' play.
- Players found in violation may have their team removed and their records deleted at host or operator discretion.
AI-generated content
Trivia questions are written or supplied by the host of each game, who may draft them with the assistance of large language models. We don't write or review them, and questions and answers may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or be out of date. The host's ruling at the venue is final on any contested answer; we make no warranty that questions or answers are factually correct. Wagers and scores are based on the answers as recorded, regardless of factual accuracy outside the game.
Game records
We keep the scores from each game you play, under the team name you entered for that game. Records are kept per game and are not linked across games: a team name carries nothing from one game to the next except its display colour, which is derived from the name.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will be uptime, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Bugs happen and games can be paused or canceled at host discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [OPERATOR NAME / LLC] is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at [USD 100]. This applies whether the claim is in contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
Termination
We can suspend or terminate your access (or remove your team's records) at any time for violations of these terms or for any reason at our discretion.
Governing law
